LONGFELLOWS is an annual motorcycle gathering event always on Tuesday during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August. This year it’s Tuesday—August 8 starting at 10:00 am. LONGFELLOWS— provides an opportunity for riders with custom bikes to meet and share their experiences with other enthusiasts, industry icons, custom builders and anyone interested in the custom bike genre. Event access and parking is free—held on the beautiful open grounds of Chopper Flats near Sturgis, South Dakota (19484 Hwy 79, Vale SD 57788, 605-499-8256). The Sugar Bear Chopper Museum at Chopper Flats is also open. You will see custom bikes and choppers on display and learn more about the history of choppers. Expect great food, great bikes and great people. Come check it out.
